InfoConnect has been a leader in managing un-structure data from scanned documents to electronic files such as pdf, word, excel, html, jpeg, et cetera.In 2011, we have added business intelligence into our total solution offering. Business intelligence brings visibility and clarity of the performance of each line of business and the organization as a whole by monitoring and measuring the key performance indicators through the use of dashboards, business activity monitoring and scorecards. Executive Chairman - Lim Tong Pheng
Lim Tong Pheng is the CEO of InfoConnect Group of Companies. Mr. Lim is also the founder of InfoConnect and has been holding the position of CEO since its incorporation in 1994. Mr. Lim graduated in 1982 from Universiti Sains Malaysia with a Bachelor’s of Sciences Degree in Computer Science. In 1991, he obtained Masters of Business Administration’s Degree from University of Bath. Through freelance IT consulting in 1993, He saw business opportunities in integrating IT needs and infrastructure for companies during this period and set up Infoconnect in 1994 to venture into this field.
On 7th June 1994, InfoConnect was successfully incorporated with project managements and system integrations as principal activities.In 1998, Mr. Lim steer the strategic business direction of InfoConnect towards document management system (DMS), where he imported US based products to be sold in Malaysia, integrating and implementing the US based DMS for his clients. In 2006, Mr. Lim set up Docuflo MSC Sdn Bhd, which is of MSC status, to facilitate in in-house document management system development. Moving towards the company’s vision in growing vertically in the insurance industry, Mr. Lim acquired BPI Technologies Sdn Bhd to help extend the capabilities of InfoConnect in the area of Business Intelligence. Currently, Mr. Lim is the CEO of InfoConnect Group. Apart from the responsibilities of managing the operations, Mr. Lim spearheads the overseas business development and is responsible for formulating and executing the business strategies of the Group. He plays a key role in the growth, development and strategic direction of the Group.
