A Fantastic Event At Asia Pacific University

A career is one of the most crucial aspects of life which helps in shaping a person’s identity and personal fulfilment. Some people are completely certain of what they prefer to accomplish in their lives, but some may find it challenging in choosing a profession. An informative career day can provide an opportunity for fresh graduates to better understand their interests and make decisions about their job options in the future.

On 14th June 2023, InfoConnect participated in a career fair organized by Asia Pacific University event titled APU MEGA CAREER FAIR (AMCF) 2023. The aim of the event was to nurture professionals for global careers by helping them explore the different career options from various industries. The students could also connect with employers and learn more about job opportunities in the future.

Our HR and Marketing representatives were present at this event to promote our company and the various job positions from different departments available at InfoConnect. The event was located on Levels 3, 4 and 5. This area was suitable to accommodate the high flow of traffic which connected students to all blocks and the cafeteria.

Amongst the attendees were fresh graduates, final year students, students who are heading into their internship semester, and all of APU students ranging from Foundation to Postgraduate and APU Alumni were all invited to join this event. There were approximately few thousands of APU students attended this event.  There were approximately 150 companies that were present like Maybank, CIMB, Bank Islam, Air Asia, BAT, etc.

All booths were to open from 10am to 3pm and were met with many queries from students, lecturers, and staffs from APU alike who were interested in our company.

We received various queries regarding the opportunities we offer at InfoConnect. One of the popular questions was whether we offer an internship program for fresh graduates. There was even an invitation from the lecturers to have a talk session with their students about the industrial applications of their courses. We were delighted to entertain and clarify all the queries presented by interested individuals.

The organizers surprised the exhibitors with a delicious lunch buffet with a plethora of side dishes. In addition to that, each company was provided with a prepaid card to make the payments as it is a cashless campus.

In conclusion, this event was an astounding success as it provided the opportunity for InfoConnect to promote our brands and attract some fresh and talented individuals to be part of a growing company. A special thanks to the organizer at APU for giving us the opportunity to expand our brand visibility and showcase the opportunities at InfoConnect. We look forward to participate in more similar events in the future as it was a wholesome and rewarding experience.
